Polar Bear Skate: Los Angeles Edition at Holiday Ice Rink Pershing Square presented by Bai Why wouldn’t Angelenos want to bring in the New Year in beach attire?! Putting its own spin on Canada’s “Polar Bear Plunge,” the rink invites you to grab your sunglasses and swimsuit to “dive in,” for the City’s most exciting New Year’s Day Pershing Square tradition. Skaters of all ages are invited to dress in beach attire and skate to the beat of DJ HowLy’s tunes for an invigorating welcome to 2017. $1000 in cash prizes will be awarded for theme, originality and overall appearance. Spectators pick the winners!
